My Approach

My goal as your teacher is to foster a love and understanding of music that you will hold with you for life. I teach primarily using the Suzuki Method which emphasizes a lifetime of music making at a high level. In our lessons we will develop your musical ear, your instrument technique, music theory skills, and much more.

Tuition

Lessons are charged at the following monthly rates:

• 30-minute lessons = $128/month 

• 45-minute lessons = $183/month 

• 60-minute lessons = $238/month 

• Please note that while the number of lessons fluctuates between 3, 4, or 5 from month to month, the monthly tuition remains the same. Monthly tuition is paid by students taking weekly lessons based on set lesson rates ($35/30-minute lesson, $50/45-minute lesson, and $65/60-minute lesson) with eight weeks out of the year not counted for holidays, vacation, etc (52 weeks minus 8 = 44 multiplied by the set lesson rate). Tuition also covers hours the instructor spends selecting repertoire, scheduling, phone calls and texts, Zoom/Google Meet lesson follow-ups as needed, bookkeeping, and so forth.

All lessons will take place at my home in Layton, UT. The specific address will be shared only after a consultation or lesson is scheduled.
